What is included

The environment underneath the work

Identity and access

Entra ID with role profiles, multi-factor authentication on every account and conditional access tuned so it does not obstruct daily work.

Migrations

From on-premises servers or another tenant. We plan per group, keep the old environment available and cut over when the data is verified.

Backup and recovery

Microsoft retains far less than most organisations assume. We add daily backup and test the restore, because an untested backup is a hope.

Permissions

Team sites with groups nobody can explain, shared links without an expiry date, guest accounts on finished projects. We clean that up and keep it clean.

Licence management

Business Premium, E3 or E5 depending on what you actually need. We review annually instead of renewing automatically.

Classification and retention

Labels for confidential material and retention periods so documents from 2014 stop turning up in search results.

How a migration runs

    Inventory

    Which applications, mailboxes and data volumes are involved, and which dependencies exist.

    Design

    The target model for identity, permissions, devices and data, agreed before anything moves.

  3. STAP 03
    Pilot group

    One department first. Issues surface here, not in front of the whole organisation.

  4. STAP 04
    Cut-over and aftercare

    Per group, with the old environment available as a fallback and support on hand in the first days.

Frequently asked questions

Will people notice the migration?

As little as possible. We migrate per group, usually outside office hours, and keep the previous environment available.

Do we need Microsoft 365 Backup?

If your data matters, yes. Microsoft protects the platform, not your content, and the default retention periods are short.

Can our line-of-business software move to the cloud?

Often, but not always. In the inventory we assess per application whether the cloud makes sense or whether it should stay local.

Can you manage licences we bought elsewhere?

Yes, and we will say honestly if a change of licence type would serve you better.
